Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Vaestic handles information for its website and Shopify apps.
Who We Are
Vaestic builds Shopify apps for merchants. The current pilot app is Vaestic: Hide Sold Variants.

Support contact: support@vaestic.com
Information We Process
When a merchant installs a Vaestic app, we may process shop account details provided by Shopify, app configuration, billing state, technical logs, webhook events, and support messages.
For Vaestic: Hide Sold Variants, the intended app data is limited to shop identification, installation state, theme/app configuration, billing state, and product or variant availability data needed to provide the app's functionality.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide and maintain the app, authenticate merchants, process billing through Shopify, respond to support requests, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, and comply with Shopify platform requirements.
Sharing
We do not sell merchant or customer data. We may share limited information with service providers that help run the app, such as hosting, database, error monitoring, support inbox, and uptime monitoring providers.
Retention
We keep app data only as long as needed to provide the app, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain reliable records. After uninstall, we delete or anonymize shop data according to Shopify's mandatory privacy webhook requirements.
Shopify Privacy Webhooks
Vaestic apps are designed to respond to Shopify privacy webhooks for customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction. These requests are authenticated before processing.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for app data, including access controls, secure secrets management, HTTPS, and webhook signature verification.
Your Choices
Merchants can uninstall a Vaestic app from Shopify admin. For privacy questions, data requests, or deletion requests, contact privacy@vaestic.com.
Changes
We may update this policy as our apps, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page.
